lyrics

Gathering in masses seemed like a gift
Our very movements felt like a grift
As we stole each laugh and smile
Forgetting treachery and deceit.

Galvanised in sensory ennui of joy
Everyone grasped one another
Revelling as though we had won a war
Battles forgotten and passed.

Fantasizing took centre stage
As the unconscious masses were seduced
In the luxury of living under the pretence
Our world would return to how it was.

Across the world the stirring of radiance
As the darkness rolled in concealing the light
Challenges and opportunities were met
With despotism and fanaticism alike.

Not immune to these horrors
Affected by a lurching dip and rise
Stability I found in my work
Both daily and nightly enterprise.

Exhausted yet recognising my choice
To meet the advancement of powerful allies
Anchored in waveform entanglements
Beyond our simulation called Earthly time.
