Thank you for holding the tide
Regaining your presence, delivering mine
I never confided to say I was lost
Severance came in a hurtling rush.

Basking in the glory of you
I wished you the best, I loved you
My heart cradled in the glory of life
My footfalls pristine upon creations shore.

Recognition fell like a soothing rain
Washing away all confusion and pain
I knew our time together was done
Held in the void, home I had come.

Resonant beauty touched my senses
Aching in sunsets, rising in birdsong
Gratitude cushioned my every step
No bonds broken or wounds bleed.

Repercussions echoed in my being
Dissolving illusions that held sway
Allocating a new arrival for integrity
As my inner child came out to play.

We danced to music none heard
Insights flourished and rose to mind
Greater energies were at work now
Our dalliance was over and so we untwined.
