In the space left by doubt
I filled it with investigation
Recoiling as it became clear
Our country was dissolving.

The spiders web had reached our shores
Compromised government and institutions alike
Talking heads parroting propaganda
Shills betraying their people with our consent.

Polarised and terrorised
It became difficult to share truth
This revolutionary act made me a pariah
In the minds of friends and family.

Technocratic whores at the teat of hell
Suckled and spat out poisonous dictums
Puppets moved by a fascistic hand
Of the possessed and desperate command.

From our distant sun a ray of light fell
Laying siege to the veiled promises made
In alliance with the lifeless forms
Occupying human bodies like shadows adorned.

From dreams shamanic in depth
I came to witness my love interests
Former stellar existence in lower realms
Cosmic origins in which she was kept.
